KDE Plasma freezes repeatedly on changing a widget style.🥲

I added an widget in KDE plasma and KDE plasma just freezes, even if I go to previous generation, it didn’t help😭.
I was able to get into terminal though(guessing that my window manager is still working but not sure), tried killing the process, but when ut spawns again it freezes within 2 seconds again.

The widget: Added network/memory widget to bottom panel. Inside the widget settings, there were options like only text, pie chart, line chart, applications table. I selected application table and it just freezes.

My setup:
OS:NixOS 24.05.6122.080166c15633 (Uakari) x86_64
Kernel: 6.6.58
DE: KDE plasma
WM: KWin (Wayland)

Ok guys, I have solved this by moving a file in config (basically to reset the plasma) and rebooting the system. But if anyone could tell me how better I could have handled this?
Maybe just resetting only the taskbar or something like that
