KDE-plasma Mobile compatible with Artix Linux or MX Linux?

Hi,

as I recently installed KDE-plasma Mobile with Fedora on my Acer Switch 5, I noticed that the system was a bit slow. Not annoyingly slow, but slower than with the Win10 that was on that before.

So I wonder if anybody tried KDE plasma mobile with other distros? Specifically I’m thinking of Artix (not Antix) and MX. The first is based on Arch, the second on Debian. I used both of them before, and I actually liked them. And no, I don’t want to go through all the hassle with installing Arch, thanks. I have a daytime job besides other hobbies. :grin:

If someone has some experience to share, would be much appreciated!

I did try the AUR package on Artix ( AUR (en) - plasma-mobile ) It did work, but this was a year or so ago. I’d recommend first trying it out in a VM. Also that a full KDE desktop install should be present, to not miss any applications or extra components
