KDE should prompt opening a captive portal for public wifi when connected

Title, I dont know how complicated this would be to implement, going to neverssl works, but the fact that this isn’t currently a feature to open something like neverssl or something locally hosted is not good for beginners. Also I’m not suggesting it automatically opens, I suggest it opens a link.

I hear this works for other people, maybe there is a bug on my system or something due to the fault of mine.

It does so for me. I get a button to click which opens a small window.

I used it last week.

I believe it is a fairly recent thing, maybe Plasma 6?
I’m on 6.2.x

The inline message is new.

I am pretty sure Plasma 5 already had a notification with a login button
