Its official, Fedora has approved to create dedicated marketing for KDE just like they do with Gnome. That means that Fedora workstation will either not focus anymore only on Gnome or Fedora will showcase two editions at the same level.
Tl;dr: KDE will no longer be a spin of Fedora but have an official and marketed release.
