Kdeconnect-android: send clipboard button disappeared

After commit efae488 corrected an inverted permission check in canAccessLogs(), the “Send Clipboard” button no longer appears for most users. It has been replaced by a menu entry.

As sending clipboards is easily my most used feature in the app, I think the “Send Clipboard” button should be visible to all users as a button rather than one-more-tap-away in a menu.

Could it be that the intent was to gate the clipboard auto-sync background feature, rather than the manual sync button?

If you concur, I will open a bug for it.

im here from a google search. my send clipboard button also missing, have to use extra screen press from 3 dots. i use this for work and the change is slowing down my work, please revert the change. please fix.
