Some features will work, when others do not work. Difficult to get the same problem to happen.
- Plasma desktop will freeze when an incoming call has happened:
– as a troubleshooting step I have disabled “Telephony Notifications” in the Desktop’s settings for my Pixel Pro 8. (did this as of today, ill comment an update).
Intermittent Problems:
- “Send to Device” works intermittently.
-
- Noticed that If I clear the notifications from the kde connect app on my desktop the “Send to Device” will work again.
- Remote Input (cell to desktop).
- Clipboard sync (desktop to cell)
Those are the problems I’ve noticed that are intermittent. I made a separate post about the clipboard problem:
I also made a past post about the “Desktop Freeze when incoming call” problem:

Android Phone & KDE connect app:
Pixel Pro 8
Andoid 15
KDE Connect App: Google Play Store > v 1.33.1
Connection:
Connected via the same wifi network at my home.
Workaround:
If I kill the kdeconnectd
service on my desktop. And reopen the app, I am able to get it to work properly again. But it will eventually bug out again.
NOTE:
The desktop freezing on answering a call thing has been a problem for a while. On two different PC’s both running SUSE TW. It’s just never been a big enough problem to worry about. Till now.
