Kdeconnect remote input keyboard limited

I’ve set up a tiny PC with plasma + firefox to stream services, f.ex. Netflix, to an old 1080p TV, using kdeconnect to control it with “Remote Input”. Works well, but the keyboard function has problems:

  1. I can’t type uppercase. The android uppercase tap shows but is ignored.
  2. The backspace has no effect.
  3. More keys, such as Esc, F11 and Back would be good.
