I’ve installed kdeconnect and gnome-shell-extension-gsconnect on Ubuntu 22.04/Gnome (from Ubuntu repos).
I can connect with kdeconnectsms and see several years worth of message headers.
I have two problems…
- where are the messages stored on my ubuntu/gnome pc so that i can manually examine them
- Why is there a datestamp but NO year… I have 10 years of messages to search through including all the spam. for example all that is shown is: 11 Mar, 10:52 , even for messages that are 10 years old.
What I’m looking for is an easily searchable (grep? date?) download of SMS messages.
