KDENLIVE 24.08.02 crashes when locating clip (Ubuntu 24.04)

Hi,

i can open any project with no problems. Sometimes i need to delete clips from a project including the original MKV-File belongig to the clip to be deleted.
In Version before 24 i could just right click on that clip in KDENLIVE project and select ‘locate clip’. This opens dolphin and set the cursor automatically on the MKV-File.
This does not work any longer - any click on ‘locate clip’ crashes KDENLIVE.
I have two coputers which do have the same problem.

Has somebody the same experiance, or may be a solution ?

I am using the same version on Pop!_OS 22.04 (which is based on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS) and Locate Clip works just fine without crashing Kdenlive. Perhaps there is an issue with your distro’s version …

I’m getting it crashing as soon as I load clips. I’m going back to 24.08.1 for now.
