Confiming this fixes Kdenlive 24.12.0 released - #10 by Ron
It doesn’t fix Draw Box being broken in the old saved effect stacks, but at least I can create and save a new copy to work around that 
It seems I can still crash it by doing the opposite though, trying to drag the built-in effect below a bin effect.

The flatpack version of the new Kdenlive does not come with the new HSL effects. Just the appimage
