Can you guys please improve the title adding stuff, making it more easier and faster to add text, give some text presets and simple text animations like premiere pro
Neither KDE or Kdenlive are companies, so the relation between users and creators is a bit different than with other products. As it is created by volunteers, it counts on the support of the community to get things done.
The best way to get features implemented is by helping out:

This doesn’t mean you have to know how to code! Translations, promotion, moral support, donations, documentation, tutorials… All these things help the project move forward. That said, if you do code, we will also appreciate your help.
I try the new version 25.04.2
I try to export project
report crash
Interviste.mp4 aborted, resulting video will probably be corrupted.
A real shame I go back to the old version 24.02.2
If you can provide any details or specifics about your project, it’d probably be of help.
So far, no one can guess what might be happening to you.
Kdenlive developers,
Simplify and modernize the interface
Making the UI more intuitive, streamlined, and beginner-friendly would greatly enhance usability, especially for newcomers transitioning from other platforms.
Add more built-in effects and filters
Expanding the library of creative effects—similar to what’s available in After Effects—and offering ready-to-use filters (e.g., cinematic looks, color grading presets) would empower editors to achieve stunning results faster.
Introduce VFX tools
Integrating basic VFX capabilities (such as particle effects, and advanced compositing options) would set Kdenlive apart and reduce reliance on external software.
Just make this software as combination of Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Hi, and welcome to the forum and community.
What a way to introduce you to this forum, I must say. Making demands for a free and open-source software.
It couldn’t get any more generic stating the obvious, but where are your concrete examples of lacking intuitiveness? How can it be more streamlined? Please provide some mock-ups for enhanced usability.

If you have spent some time reading here, you should have come across several posts explaining how effects work in Kdenlive. For your convenience: Effects are provided by MLT through the libavfilter and frei0r libraries - Kdenlive does not have its own effects, so the Kdenlive developers cannot expand the list of effects.
And Kdenlive doesn’t strive to be a combination of Premiere Pro and After Effects, nor wants to be a VFX tool. It’s first and foremost a video editing software.
Hi, welcome!
I assume your good intentions.
Please know that for a program with sparse resources, like Kdenlive, it’s never easy to be on par with commercial products with far more development muscle.
Anyhow, Kdenlive delivers such a wide range of possibilities and tools, that makes it look like it’s a capable competitor against those other established players in the field. That’s no small achievement in itself!
Here, you will find some of the intended features that are planned for Kdenlive’s future. It’s an interesting list, for sure! However, nothing is to be taken for granted. Only true support from the community can help make those development intentions and plans a reality.
One such form of support is to give detailed ideas on how to improve specific things.
General ideas, although at first could seem like giving some help to the development team, it is really not that effective. There could be many possible ways to implement those general ideas. So conveying a certain specific idea on a specific topic is much more useful in the end, than just saying something like: “make the program more intuitive”, etc.
Why is the Volume in this version now juist volume / keyframable likle previouse versions I have used it all the time?
Will need to go back to my old version 24.08.3
The effect name changed. Volume has been keyframable all the time so having this in the name is redundant. Sorry for the confusion, though.
