Kdenlive: AVfilter/FreiOz

I recntly Installed Kdenlive on Windows 7.
I started assembling movies mixed with foto’s and so far: great software.
Reading the manual, it mentioned AVfilter and FreiOz used in some effects.

Question: do I have to install these softwares or are they included allready ?

They are already included out of the box.
