Kdenlive proxy questions (probably numpty questions)

These questions will probably crossover to the DJI Action 5 Pro forum, but let’s see what we can untangle here.

I have imported my latest videos from the camera (4K UHD, 2160p, 59.4fps). What has changed since the last time I did a video is that I have added a DJI Mini mic and changed the video to film in D-Log. What I have noticed that is different in Kdenlive is:

  1. Sound is no longer a separate track in the MP4 (Anyone know why? (maybe a DJI forum question))
  2. It does not want to create proxy videos

What I received in the log was:

[mov @ 0x26264800] Could not find tag for codec h264 in stream #2, codec not currently supported in container
[out#0/mov @ 0x2622a1c0] Could not write header (incorrect codec parameters ?): Invalid argument
[vf#0:0 @ 0x26229ac0] Error sending frames to consumers: Invalid argument
[vf#0:0 @ 0x26229ac0] Task finished with error code: -22 (Invalid argument)
[vf#0:0 @ 0x26229ac0] Terminating thread with return code -22 (Invalid argument)

So, I thought it might be the Audio, so I extracted it, and I got the same error. I tested proxy settings and came up with x264-vaapi-scale as showing it working. But this did not work either. Then I transcoded it to an edit-friendly format, and now I get the following:

Can anyone point me to a potential solution? I am using Kdenlive - Version 25.08.0

It looks like it righted itself. I think it was because I completely removed the videos and re-added them. I am speculating that the new proxy format with the videos re-added was like a M$ reset for it. Of note, I did add the separate audio with the original video, so I am unsure if this is superfluous or not (I am sure someone will come in and tell me).

Anyway, I will keep tracking this as I move forward in my learning.
