Kdenlive: Sound effect that last after sound track

I try to add a reverb to a soundtrack lasting after the end of the soundtrack, so I can have a scene ending with a reverb time overflowing its end.

I hope my explanation attempt is clear, I don’t know how to do that with Kdenlive. Any help welcome!

Is this about kdenlive?

Sorry yes, I am adding a tag and completing the title!

[Edit] actually I think I can’t.

This may be a bit late, but there will be a way to do this by emulating how people do this in other programs.

I think what you mean is that the last drum hit or beat reverberates instead of simply ending instantly.

This video gives a good, short, explanation - you’ll have to do a search on YT, since we can’t include URLs here

How To END SONGS With ECHO REVERB In Davinci Resolve

Basically you take the last bit of your clip that you want to end on, and have reverb, and cut it at the point.

Now precomp/nest that piece into another sequence and add the reverb to that piece. Does that make sense?

I can upload a small project if you need more clarification. Anyway this video will get you on the right track to see the process, and you will find more using this query if I wasn’t clear.
