It is something many have a hard time grasping: there is no “them” (“consumers of KDE products”) and “us” (“KDE product providers”) – or vice versa. KDE is very literally a FLOSS project of the people, by the people, for the people, where, if it is to survive, everybody must intervene, contribute and support if we are then going to reap its benefits.
There is no mega-corp patronage or government plan that is going to help us, at least not to the degree that would guarantee KDE’s continuity.
