KeepassXC is copying the real password, not asterisks, when I paste. Toggling show/hide password makes no difference. I looked in settings but couldn’t find an answer.
Are you pasting from KeepassXC into another app?
If so, it’s the “receiving” app that decides whether to show the real text or asterisks.

it was my main email account, but following your tip I tried another website & it worked properly. So it was the receiving website showing the pword, not KeepassXC. We can mark this one as solved. Cheers.
And now I tried my email again, and for some reason now it’s working properly, just showing asterisks in the password field?
