Keyboard shortcut for full screen preview on macOS F11 not working

Keyboard Shortcuts — Kdenlive Manual 25.08 documentation says
Switch Monitor Fullscreen: F11

On a mac laptop keyboard when pressing fn + F11 this shows the desktop. So it seems the supposed shortcut is clashing with a macOS default shortcut apparently.

ctrl + cmd + f switches Kdenlive to full screen as expected but I am looking to use a keyboard shortcut to quickly switch between full screen video preview back and forth with the app.

Leaving full screen preview with esc key works fine.

Open System Settings > Keyboard and Mouse Shortcuts and set Show Desktop to blank i.e. unassign F11.

Now fn + F11 can be used to open full screen preview.

I was able to use this on my Mac as well and it worked pretty well. I was using a spreadsheet for my portable restroom business and it allows me to go back and forth with little problem. Thanks.
