Hi, apologies but I can’t find what I’m looking for with this. I set the keyboard shortcut for the notifications widget to meta+n. At some point (a while ago now) it stopped working and I have been unable to get it working again. Other shortcuts still appear to be working and I am able to bind new ones to other things, it’s just for the notification widget. I’m not sure if it’s related but I have two instances of the notification shortcut bind and neither works.
If you right click on the notifications widget, click on settings… you should be able to set the shortcut from there. Maybe that does the job?
Definitely a bug you should report anyway. That doubled instance seems concerning enough.
Thanks for the reply! The shortcut settings for the widget actually sets the “Do not disturb” mode rather than expanding the widget.
You are right, sorry, I thought it was like the rest of the tray icons that do have that option.
you can set the notification widget shortcut here in the system tray settings
to access: enter edit mode > hover over system tray > configure > items tab
Thank you! That has been annoying me for ages. Perhaps I did that in the first place and forgot where I set it and then broke it somehow myself.
