Keyboard shortcuts (Calculator button not work)

Hi.
Iam trying to bind calculator app to open when calculator button is pressed(XF86Calculator) on keyboard.

When i open settings and create new shortcut the key is not registered.

I think its bug because other special keys are registred, like HomePage(XF86HomePage) or Browser(XF86Explorer).
And also XF86Calculator button is recordable by keyboard tester.

I also try to import shortcut setting as file but without succes.

file: inpurt.kksrc

[notecali.desktop][Global Shortcuts]
_launch=Calculator

Device specs: Fedora 40 ,KDE plasma 6.0.3

My question is what can i try to bind this shortcut or what can i try?

Hey! Have you found a solution? Same problem here.

Unfortunately not. I just use the function key next to the calculator. It’s an unfortunate solution, but somehow I didn’t have time to take any more interest. but at that time I was filling in the bug report, so maybe in the next KDE release it will be fixed

Same issue.
Just updated KDE and my shortcut is gone.
It used to work before.
The keycode is 140, but pressing the button in the keyboard shortucts settings dialog does not register it.

I am not sure if this was fixed in some update, but it is now working.

On a new computer , I installed KDE NEon latest and the key wasn’t active as well. Then I installed kcal and suddenly the key was bind to kcal and everything was working as expected.

Same problem for me. I don’t know how to get it work.

Seems this bug is fixed in Qt 6.6.3, which is scheduled to be released on 2024-03-22, let’s wait for the release and check.
