Keystroke to nudge audio?

I ungroup audio from video to adjust sync, but can’t see a way to nudge the audio forward or back with just a keystroke- so I can watch the video playing and nudge the audio into sync.

I looked in the manual for timeline keystrokes and saw nothing there. Looked in Keyboard Shortcuts and didn’t see anything I could assign, but maybe I missed it- there’s a lot in there.

Like Ctrl-> or < for one frame selected item nudge, Ctrl-Shift-> or < for 5 frame nudge

I’ve wanted the same, but haven’t found anything. Have not searched extensively.

For anyone else playing along at home, answered where it was originally asked here:

Interesting. I had not realized that there was an additional “grab” on top of clicking on a clip to select it- as that’s how I move them (click) that’s how I apply filters (click) but they wouldn’t move when just clicked. But I see that Grab “boldens” the highlight border, so it’s like SELECT select. Thanks for the tip.

Is there a reason why an additional Grab is required for moving the clip with the arrow keys versus moving the clip with the mouse, etc?

Because by default the arrows already do other things.

True, but so does double-clicking.
But when I have a clip selected, and I double click an effect- it’s applied to the clip.
No “grab” needed.

So if I have a clip selected, then click the right arrow,
it could move the clip, instead of the playhead.

Just a thought.
Or rather an UI irregularity.

It’s software, so it could launch a moon rocket.

But more people find it more useful more of the time for them to move the playhead and selected track. Especially when doing rapid keyboard focused editing. There are more things you more often want to do more often with a selected clip than inch it left or right.
