Kf6 kcm_kaccounts can't add google account

On plasma 6, both RC2 and gentoo “live”, I am trying to add a google account:
1 - /usr/bin/systemsettings kcm_kaccounts
2 - click “Add New Account”
3 - select “Google” from the list
but nothing happens…no auth dialog, etc.
In the terminal, each time I click “Google” I get the following output:
“google”
Looking for plugin “”
Starting auth session with “oauth2”
Info:
Id: 107
caption: “google”
owner: “”
userName: “”
qt.dbus.integration: Could not disconnect “com.google.code.AccountsSSO.SingleSignOn.Identity” to “destroyed(QObject*)” : Pointers are not supported: QObject*

I have used most recent signond, signon-ui & signon-oath2, as well as current git versions…
Does anybody here have a suggestion where I might look next to resolve this?

Same here.
I don’t know if it’s a gentoo issue.

Can confirm it’s also happening on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. I can’t login at all–I can put my email in, but then a CAPTCHA appears briefly and the login screen then goes white after a few seconds, with the same error message above in the terminal.

I can confirm the same occurs in fedora 40 with kde plasma 6.0.2.
Login window does not show up when I click on Google in the accounts list.
