I’m on Kile 2.9.93 using Devuan Daedalus (non-systemd version of Debian Bookworm).
One very nagging feature of Kile is that when I wish to input a diacritic letter directly from my keyboard (for e.g., ā, ś, ñ, etc.) it gets automatically converted to =a, 's, ~n, etc. This severely disrupts my workflow when I wish to use the autocomplete feature to input words into my document. Searching for a particular word also becomes a problem.
How can I get Kile out of my way to directly input diacritic letters?
