Kmail crashes on closing identity dialog

Hello,

This crash happens with this message in stdout:

double free or corruption (out)
*** KMail got signal 6 (Exiting)
*** Dead letters dumped.

Steps to reproduce:

 Open the configuration dialog
 Edit an identity or create a new identity
 Apply or cancel, an edit is not required
 Wait for 1 second

If an edit has been made, it is applied.

Operating System: Arch Linux 
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2
Kernel Version: 6.9.0-rc1-git-00002-g613796e2b960-dirty (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland

The best way to get developers to fix these kind of crashes is to open the crash dialog you get when KMail crashes (or click the sad face icon in the system tray, if you don’t get the dialog) and ask it to submit an automatic crash report to KDE.

Because it looks like you have a very clear understanding of the issue, and a simple reproduction, the second best way to get developer to fix these kind of crashes is to create a bug report at bugs.kde.org

While it is OK to post these things to the Discuss forum here - because you have such a good report and it doesn’t look like you need any help in understanding the problem - it is much less helpful to post it here than in bugs.kde.org.
