When I open KMyMoney and go to an account ledger to create a new entry the default date appears to be whatever date I last used for a transaction before I last closed the program.
I am sort of expecting this “starting” date, from using other programs, to be today’s date. I sometimes forget this. I appreciate that there is a short cut key “Shift T” to change the date to today’s date. However, is there a setting I have missed someone that would make the “starting” date for new entries when KMyMoney is first started today’s date?
No, you did not miss it as it is not (yet) present to my knowledge. Could be that there is already a wish list item on the feature request and bug tracking system we use. If you can’t find it, please feel free to create it using this link.
