KMyMoney: SEPA standing orders

If I understand correctly, KMyMoney does not currently support the management of SEPA standing orders with automatic reconciliation with the bank, right?

Aqbanking would support this, though, wouldn’t it? Are there plans to implement this in KMyMoney?

Hello,

I may misunderstand your question.

KMyMoney is able to create SEPA orders.

This is how the SEPA credit transfer mask looks like: (from the menu “outbox”)

you can run one existing SEPA credit order several times to generate regular credit orders.

Or do you mean something totally different: “how does AqBanking import the bank transactions into KMyMoney and reconcile them”?

I meant scheduled SEPA orders, in German known as Dauerauftrag and Terminbuchung.

as far as i know, KMyMoney cannot managed scheduled SEPA orders. I can only manage “one-shot” SEPA orders.

The question is whether there are plans to add this functionality and whether this is merely a limitation of KMyMoney or would have to be implemented in Aqbanking first.

Most (if not all) of the parts needed are not yet in AqBanking. That should provide an answer. I think there was some work (see branch mp-202503-datedsepatransfers on the AqBanking repo). The last change there was back in May.

On the other hand, there is a new requirement (called VOP) which needs to be supported by applications by October and I think that’s where the AqBanking maintainer is working on right now. We don’t have details yet as to any needed changes in KMyMoney. I expect some because the feature talks about user feedback.

As additional problem: AqBanking relies on the library xmlsec1 which apparently needs an update as well as it seems to fail to compile with newer build environments. From what I saw at first glance, that update is not a simple replacement without changes to the code.

You see: there is enough stuff to be maintained which eats a lot of time for new features.
