I am sorry i cannot answer your question on my own.
However i suggest you to add the kmymoney optional tag to your original message.
This way, it will be seen by the users interested into kmymoney and you should receive - more likely - help from them.
Furthermore it is always a good idea to indicate
- the operating system of the computer
- the kmymoney version you use (available under Help → About KMyMoney).
- screenshots if relevant
Most likely not random, but the last date you entered in a previous session.
