So the problem is I downloaded the latest version of Kompare to try out the app and right from the first use I experience the user-breaking bug, which in my case can only be “fixed” by increasing the font size. Can anybody confirm this?
i gave up on kompare and went with meld, but when i was looking at it i didn’t not encounter this specific issue.
Could be a different version or a font engine.
Hi - this looks to be an open issue for Kompare, reported in the KDE Bugtracking System: 481778 – Text in lines is cut in half, only lower half of the line text is visible when font size less than 14
