The screenshot is about altering tabs for 30 times without doing anything on window size explicitly. Obviously, Konsole has a smaller scale without changing the maximized state, which can be indicated by icons in the upright position. It’s so weird! I just began to suffer from it some days ago.
System info: Arch Linux, Plasma 5.27.9, Konsole 23.08.3
Hey I have the same issue over here, in Tudexo OS, Plasma 5.27.10. Did you find any solution to that?
It’s confirmed as a bug now. You can visit it on kde bugzilla, id=477700.
I’m sorry to say that it’s not fixed yet. Consider alternatives like tmux.
Actually I just found a wordaround. If you disable the “main toolbar” from settings, this seems to fix the issue. You can go over Settings → Toolbar Shown → disable main toolbar (which is kind of useless for me). That did it for me.
