I want ctrl+tab to always go back to the last tab. If there are three tabs a, b and c, then ctrl+tab should cycle “aba”, never “abc”. This was the case in some earlier (probably pretty old) konsole version.
The current behaviour is this: If I press ctrl+tab in quick succession, then it cycles “abc“. However if I wait a bit longer, then sometimes it goes “aba”. I’m looking for a way to get completely predictable behaviour back, with no timeouts. I think this should be configurable. I could not find this in the profile’s “Tabs” settings.

This drives me utterly bonkers too. There are so many great options for everything else, why not this?
You’re really just looking in the wrong spot:
Switch these and you should be good to go.
Although according to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=493126 your preferred way should already (or still) be the default?

That sounds kind of broken though, can’t say I ever experienced a behavior like this, but then again I strongly prefer abc anyway.
