I’m using Fedora 39 w/ the KDE spin:
- KDE Plasma version: 5.27.9
- KDE Frameworks Version: 5.111.0
- Qt Version: 5.15.11
When using the Konsole app, and when printing a Konsole session’s contents to a PDF file, the Konsole app always selects, by default, the paper size A4, and it always specifies, by default, absurdly small page margins (~4 mm).
- File menu > Print Screen… (Ctrl+Shift+P)
- Printer Shell dialog > Name > Print to File (PDF)
- Printer Shell dialog > Properties
- Printer Properties dialog > Page tab
- Page size: A4
- Margins: 0.14 in (all sides)
In KDE’s System Settings > Regional Settings > Region & Language, the Paper Size option is set to Letter and all other settings are configured for American English.
How do I change/specify the default settings for (a) the paper size (this should be Letter not A4) and (b) the page margins (e.g., 0.75 inch)?
