Kontact KMail issue after update (Flatpak)

Hi There.

I’ve been using the flatpak install for Kontact. It has been working fine for the last couple of weeks since installation.
Today I ran a flatpak update which updated Kontact to the latest release (6.6.0 25.12.0).

Since then I’ve been unable to check my email accounts because I am hitting a error message as soon as Kontact opens. It reads, “Cannot load part for Mail. Could not load plugin from /app/lib/plugins/kmailpart.so: Cannot load library /app/lib/plugins/kmailpart.so: libPlasmaActivities.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory“.

Kontact opens after I hit the “OK” button on that error message but it’s as if I hadn’t setup Kontact with both my email accounts. It looks vanilla Kontact after installation.

Any idea on what may be going on here?
Thanks in advance.
Regards

I just experienced the same today, will try to roll back to version 6.5.3 which was working before.

EDIT: I just learned I don’t know how to roll back the version. If anybody knows, please share it  .

It seems to be fixed right now

Yes.
Fixed. Gonna try to find out how to uninstall a flatpak update in case something like this ever happens again.
Thanks everybody.

Just in case it ever happens again, be it with Kontact or with any other flatpak package:

First you look for the commit you are interested in:

flatpak remote-info --log flathub org.kde.kontact

Then you deploy the commit:

flatpak update \
    --commit=bb21b0cf7eff0def2b520c711763be5f67fb15cb15d068a68a2a42b3888a239c \
    org.kde.kontact

Thanks.
