I’d love to use KRename exclusively, but I can’t figure out a quick way to recall previous expressions. I use a a handful of expressions very often and want to reuse them easily without having to write them every time I need them.
In the UI, there is a way to save and load expressions, but it’s defaults to whatever directory you are in instead of loading from a saved static library to be able to pick right out of a list of all saved expressions. So to reuse expressions you would need to navigate to a folder on your system for every load and save operation.
I fail to see why you would want to save and load into a directory you are using to change file names, so I feel like I’m doing this wrong. Could someone guide me on how to use Find and Replace more efficiently?
