Linux Mint 21,3 Mate; Host: Dell Studio XPS 435T/9000; Kernel: 6.8.0-52-generic
I want to delete all files on this drive. It is one my personal computer and security is not needed. When I tried to access the files in Krusader I get a password error. I used my system password sometimes I could access the files and sometimes I could not. I was able to backup files to another drive through. I tried to delete files using the DD, Shred and Format commands. Each time the system would returned an error that it could not access the files
Is there away to delete the KDE password database files. So I could to turnoff the encryption on the files. Then delete the files on the disk Thank you all your help.

KDE password database ? On Linux Mint ? Did I miss something or are you hacking your Mint installation with QT/Plasma stuff ?

start Krusader as root? Use:
kdesu -u root krusader
