I am running Kubuntu 24.04 and lastest stable version of Krusader. I have an issue that when I select a file with mouse and then use arrows to move up and down, the mouse-selected file maintains the selection. So it easy to delete two files instead of just one. I found a place in Settings - mouse selection something called “mouse button preserves selection” but these are not activated.
Anyone have a suggestion?
Have the same problem. Is there any setting to change this behaviour? Changing from mouse to the arrow keys (without shift) should deselect all. Tried several settings already but without success.
I tried some more and finally found a solution. It is a bit counter intuitive I think, but the key is to select the ‘Double-click selects’ option. This prevents a single click to permanently select an item. However you can still copy/move etc on the item where you clicked. Below are my settings.
