I have given KUP a try for doing my backup - but don’t understand it’s concept really. Doing a backup of my home folder works, but I can’t backup anything else. I woud like to at least backup the contents of etc. But ok, my user has no access. Can’t I run kup in root mode - and if so: how?
I think I’ll go back to using rsync directly - on command line I can give it full system access.
Yes, it is designed for user level backups and/or file syncs
