Kudos to the KWrite developers/maintainers! I was tasked with exporting multiple 800 MByte files of MSSQL database data in csv format, cleaning it up, and importing it to a MySQL database. I tried several “Pro” editors, and they all choked on the large file sizes or mangled simple edits.
I then tried Kwrite as a last resort, and it was the ONLY editor that didn’t choke. It elegantly warned me about the large files, but performed sub-second quick. Even my global “search and replace” with thousands of matches appeared to finish nearly instantly. I’m very impressed! Great job!
