how would this linking look like? LabPlot supports already the consumption of what we call “live data”. External tools can write the data into external files and we consume them in LabPlot and update the visualizations automatically, see for example the demos show on Support for live data - LabPlot and also the tutorials on Live Data — Labplot Manual 2.12 documentation . Would what you have in your mind go beyond this already existing approach?
