KDE Linux is similar to kinoite and Aurora in preferring flatpaks, distrobox, etc. and then layering as last resort.
how do I handle cases where something needs to be installed system wide in KDE Linux? For example I layered 1Password to have access to SSH agent and fingerprint reader ( rpm-ostree install ).
happy to start a bug ticket if this is still new territory.
P.S. I used to layer mangohud for gaming but stopped using it, and maybe that wasn’t necessary. VS Code I’ve stopped layering and moved it to distrobox. Other kinoite layered stuff is because fedora didn’t include some basics (because non free software?) so I don’t those are going to be an issue with arch based OS.
