In Konsole, line numbers are on the right side and there doesn’t seem to be an option to change this. I would like them on the left side, as on any text editor.
Interesting. Some like the line numbers where they are (on the right side) and others might prefer it on the left side (like Kate’s). An option to toggle - right-left-hidden - IMO would be better.
Of course users should have a choice, KDE is all about choices after all. Having an option to change color and size of the numbers would be good too.
Sounds like a good case for a feature request for Konsole

The template is quite specific, I don’t think submitting a feature request there would be good.
For feature requests, things like “Steps to Reproduce” and “Observed/Expected Results” wouldn’t always necessarily apply - but in general it’s good to be specific about the behavior you’re requesting.
That notice is more to let folks know that if they’re seeing behavior that might be a bug or might be intentional, this is a good place to ask for help figuring that out.
Bugzilla is definitely the place for specific, discrete feature requests to be reviewed by developers of KDE software, using the “wishlist” severity level
