In Kstars/Ekos in case of Load and Slew aligment finding the right rotation angle with manual rotation is difficult and time consuming. Currently, the software indicates the angle by which the camera should be rotated left or right, which is fine, but several iterations involving plate solving are required at each step, which takes time. Visual aids such as a live camera view and graphics indicating the correct position of stars or features in the live image would speed up the alignment process.
