Hi. New to KDE, and somewhat new to Linux. I can not figure out how to fix this issue. The login in screen after a cold boot or reboot, the text font, user profile image, and everything else is incredibly small. This issue happens on my Lenovo Yoga with a 3840x2160 4k display.
I have this problem with Manjaro, Tuxedo, OpenSuse, etc… The only distro that has not had this issue is Fedora 40 Plasma. Moreover, it does not matter whether I am using X11 or Wayland, the issue remains. I imagine that is because the issue exists on a screen that is presented prior to entering either one of the DTE sessions.
I have tried making changes to
/usr/share/sddm/scripts/
/etc/sddm.conf.d/hidpi.conf
I have looked at this topic, the answer provided here did nothing for me…
“SDDM login screen font size”
Please help the returning Linux user who has recently pledged allegiance the the KDE side.
Respectfully,
Allen
