Login screen freezes when I boot

As you can see, in the login screen, it doesn’t appear my account’s icon, nor it lets me access my desktop. It freezes. There also are five options instead of four under the password bar. If I’m not wrong, they should appear only when your PC turns off automatically if the OS doesn’t detect any activity. Either way, this is happening since the 6.7.0 update. I didn’t bother to fix it that much until yesterday I had to turn on and off my PC for 30 minutes because it wouldn’t fix itself, because it usually fixes automatically after two boots. I don’t know if it’s something that might be related to my HW, because I’ve checked online if people had similar issues and I couldn’t find anything similar to my problem.

You need to provide enough information so that people can nelp.

What OS are you using?

What GPU do you have?

Also some more questions:

  • This is with plasma loginmanager?
  • Do you happen to have some special things in your setup like for example NFS auto mounted directories?
  • Does that also happen if you not set an icon for your account?

Would be great to have more informations to be able to understand why that may happen.

I use KDE Neon and my GPU is an AMD Radeon RX 6600.

  • Yes
  • I don’t have any of them as far as I know. I also checked and everything is alright
  • This is what I should normally see (the red stuff is me censoring my name, not some errors) and it works all the time when it’s like this. I don’t know why this happens. Maybe I’ve done something without realising it.

I’ll check the link you’ve posted when I have free time. Thank you for your time.
