Login sound not working

Help. I think i messed up with my audio because I can’t hear the login sound although i enabled it by opening system settings –> notifications –> system notifications –> login –> play a sound

When I checked the status of pipewire and some of its services, it said:

● pipewire.service - PipeWire Multimedia Service
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/user/pipewire.service; enabled; preset: disabled)

or:

mod.protocol-pulse: client 0x5c5dbc1fbcd0 [plasmashell]: ERROR command:-1 (invalid) tag:3 error:25 (Lỗi vào/ra)

Then I tried re-enabling them, restarting them, and even restarting my pc, it still didn’t work

For me on CachyOS and EndeavourOS (plasma 6.6.3).
My solution, found today :

  • systemctl --user enable pipewire.service
  • systemctl --user enable pipewire-pulse.service

It is the same for me with opensuse. I have marked the settings but still have to mark:

systemctl --user enable --now pipewire.service

in a terminal window for it work.
