The Comic Strip widget checks for new comics at intervals up to 99 minutes. Some comics, such as XKCD, are updated every few days. It would be kind to the hosts of such comics if the widget would check for new comics less frequently or on specific days. How hard would it be to add this feature to the Comic Strip widget?
