Hello. I have a my color scheme, good with some apps, such as Dolphin, but not with other ones, like Waterfox or Libreoffice: too low contrast between the white text and the light olive background.

What should I change to fix this problem?

You can change the GTK theme in the Application Style settings, and clicking the button “Configure GNOME/GTK Application Style”
Thank you, but I knew that. That way you can choose a predefined style. However I was searching a way to customize a gtk theme.
GTK themes can’t really be customized easily by the user. It seems like the issue in question is a bug in the theme that must be fixed by its developer (maybe that person is you if you developed the GTK theme).
I had issues in the past with stuff like this…
Generally, now, I don’t bother applying separate GTK themes on Plasma… as the theme applied to Plasma generally works pretty well with everything.
Some apps let me use a Kvantum theme, I quite like QMPlay2 with a Kvantum theme to give it glassy buttons, for example.
With GTK styles, it’s more a matter of just installing lots of them and seeing how well they work… and colours/contrast issues can frequently crop up - so it’s worth trying a few.
Some are really well built, others aren’t - remember, they’re just made by anyone who can upload one - so YMMV and there’s no guarantee.
With some Kvantum themes, I went into folders and loaded SVG images in Kate and was able to completely replace a set of colours to match my preference:
Overall, the best elements of theming IMO are Klassy, Lightly, and spend your time working on your colour schemes. I don’t much bother with other stuff nowadays.
