Low Quality Audio Over Bluetooth

When I connect my Bluetooth earphones to my laptop running KDE neon, the audio played by my browser is poor in quality. However, if I disconnect and reconnect, it works fine. It takes 2-3 retires to reconnect the earphones. I use the LibreWolf browser and I don’t know whether it is the browser that is causing this issue or the OS. I’ve attached additional info about my operating system and browser for reference below.

You can select the bluetooth codec used in the bluetooth plasmoid without disconnecting, I know I have to select the right one to have quality audio.

Hello Meven. Firstly, thanks for the swift response. I’m new to Linux and unable to do exactly what you say. Can you please send me a screenshot to help me out?

It must be in the audio output/volume settings part.

This is where you select the SBX-XQ high quality codec in Audio panel
