Make battery conservation more ux friendly

In Plasma 6.1, you have added the option to limit the charge threshold for Lenovo laptops. I downloaded the latest version of KDE neon testing to test it out, and it worked. However, I have a suggestion.

I was aware of this feature thanks to Nate Graham’s report, but I believe it is not easily accessible. It is currently hidden in the power settings and advanced settings, making it difficult to locate at first glance (I had indeed encountered this difficulty personally)
In my opinion, it would be more user-friendly to place it in a more visible area, such as the battery and power applet, in a similar fashion like the screen lock and sleep toggle, maybe under the battery health report. This way, users can easily find and access this feature without having to navigate through multiple settings.

Thanks, that’s definitely something to consider.

The applet is generally more tailored toward things that we expect users to change on the fly, so it isn’t the first thing that would come to mind for me. But also I’ve seen requests previously to disable charge limits temporarily, and with this Lenovo conservation mode being a simple toggle, perhaps it’s a good idea to spend some time on what a corresponding applet UI for this should look like.

As an additional consideration, the current implementation requires admin access (i.e. password input) when updating the value. That would have to change if we put a quick-access toggle into the applet.
