Maliit is spamming journald log

I have Input Method disabled in System Tray, but I get an infinity of Maliit messages in journald log

Operating System: Manjaro Linux 
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.7
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.108.0
Qt Version: 5.15.10
Kernel Version: 6.4.10-1-MANJARO (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland

Those seem to be debug messages, which you can toggle under the “Select properties” combo box in the top right. You can probably find a way to filter out logs from the unit “maliit-keyboard” too. It’s not really a bug.

Also, Maliit isn’t a KDE project, so this is really more of a question/concern for its developers.

Is there any working virtual keyboard under Wayland for Plasma 5.27 ? I need it on non touch screen and being able to type using mouse (for a family member with a disabled hand) like how Onboard works on X11.

Yes it’s Maliit, I’ve been using it for my touch display for a while now on 5.27.

I’m on 5.27.8, and it doesn’t work on non touch screen under Wayland.

Oh sorry, I didn’t realize you said “non-touch”. I’m not sure then :frowning: I think Qt might has own virtual keyboard thing?

There is only one that works on SDDM, Plasma desktop and its lock screen don’t have it.
