Markdown viewer for KDE

Is there a good viewer for markdown files that you can recommend? Some times I don’t want the markdown file to open in an editor, I just want to read the contents in the way it is intended. I know Okular can render markdown files but I noticed that it often fails to render everything correctly. It misses a bunch of emojis, the fonts are really big, etc. By far, the most annoying thing is that it gets confused with code blocks such that it renders comments with # prefix in the code block as level-1 headings.

It would be fantastic if there is a way to replicate GitHub markdown rendering in Okular.

Thanks, among all the choices I like Apostrophe. I am going to use that for a few days to see if it fits my needs. I also tried Marknote but the GitHub Markdown was not rendering correctly.

I prefer Linuxlinks.

So if you want the ‘Apostrophe’ look, I think MarkText is the best, also native and much lighter.

If you like double pane, then Ghostwriter is also excellent - I use both.

Ooh, I like MarkText more than Apostrophe. It renders everything as I expect and even has a tabbed interface with a built-in file browser and Outline browser.
