After a few months of development, Marknote 1.6.0 is out!
I know it’s been a few weeks, but I just wanted to say that Marknote is really shaping up nicely, kudos to the developers! The new support for sub-folders is great.
One thing not mentioned in the article, I think, is that the new 1.6.0 updates the notes list after filesystem changes, which I don’t believe it did in earlier versions.
So, for example, I use Nextcloud to sync between my phone and laptop, with the Nextcloud Notes app on my phone and the Nextcloud/Notes directory synced to my laptop. I configure Marknote to use that Nextcloud/Notes directory. Now, when I add a note on my phone it appears immediately in Marknote too (well, after a short delay to sync). It’s no longer necessary to refresh the notes list to see it. Nice!
